I was able to run again yesterday (April Fool’s Day) sticking to running 3 minutes out of every 5 X 6 after a warm-up. My heel did feel a little tender at times but not painful during the run. It was not the best day out as far as weather goes; very cloudy, grey, cool, and very windy. Then about 30 minutes after my run:
Are you kidding me? Must have been some kind of April fool’s day joke….
Turned out to be a very beautiful day! Even my plants perked up quite a bit.
I am taking off from running today though, because my foot is a little tender. Just don’t want to push it and I have plenty of time to get ready for this marathon. I am still really excited about my progress and the fact that I can run at all! The foam rolling is really helping with the tightness in my calves and overall, I think everything is going really well!
Being that I am not running today, I think I will try to make my grandson’s Tae Kwon Do class. I love watching him. He is 7 years old and very focused and determined.
….and hopefully my 2 year old granddaughter will be there cheering him on with me.
