The Next Phase of Running2Run

Running2Run has been around for a while now, and if you have been reading along, you have noticed it has evolved over time. This space started as a place to share my personal running journey, along with bits of everyday life, family, and the lessons learned.

When I first began this blog, running was about goals, schedules, and fitting training into a busy life. It was a way to stay grounded and to keep moving forward. Writing about it felt natural because running has always been more than exercise and racing—it’s part of who I am.

Over the years, my relationship with running has shifted. I still set goals and challenge myself, but I’m more thoughtful about how I do it. I pay closer attention to consistency, recovery, and what allows me to keep running well over time.

That realization has shaped the new direction I’m taking with Running2Run. This space is becoming more intentional and more focused on sustainable running, especially for those of us who want to continue running as we get older. It’s about running smart, staying consistent, and making adjustments as our bodies change—not giving up.

What isn’t changing is the heart of this blog. Running2Run will always be personal, realistic, and rooted in real life. There will be stories, reflections, and the everyday balance between running, family, and health. It’s not a reinvention—it’s a natural next phase.

Looking ahead, I’ll be sharing more thoughtful posts about running later in life, practical guidance for getting started, or starting again, and resources designed to support long-term healthy running. Things will continue to change gradually, one step at a time. My previous posts with a mix of running and life events will still be available for your enjoyment.

If you are running now— or even just thinking about returning to running—you’re in the right place!

Happy Running!
